creating results and added value

I studied Human Resources in Umeå, where I am from. After my studies I moved to Stockholm and started my so-called career. I have always worked in agencies or consultancies specialising in recruitment. The first few years were more operational as a consultant with sales and delivery, and the last few years were more managerial and strategic, where I was part of the management team and a partner.  In my various roles I have focused on delivering results and value to the end client, training and coaching people in recruitment and creating growth for my own business.

like to influence

I finally felt that I wanted to have more influence. I like to have an impact and feel that I have a freedom (and a say) in the strategic direction. So I have always thought that one day I would be involved in setting up a company, the question was, what kind of company and when.

consultant, client and buyer

After several years of consulting in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, I have worked with many companies, in different sectors and at different stages. From start-ups to scaleups to listed companies. As a consultant, but also as a client and buyer, I have seen what works and what does not, in terms of processes, but also system support and digital tools in TA/HR.

create something new, something even better

So to LEYA - I saw an opportunity to use my accumulated experience and knowledge to create something new, something even better than what is currently on the market in our field. Then, of course, the opportunity and the people that I now have as colleagues were a decisive factor - we complement each other very well.

deliver user-friendly, simple yet powerful products

Personally, I love (maybe that is a strong word) conceptualising and packaging new services and products. What I'm looking forward to with our platform and products is to be able to use my experience to influence content and form to deliver user-friendly, simple yet powerful products to our customers.

As a former buyer and user of assessments (if we are to focus on that), I have often seen platforms that are terrible to work with, too many clicks or desirable features that do not exist. Some feel like they have not been updated since the early 00s. Or I have found that there are too many (sometimes unnecessary and/or complicated) reports, or that they are too thin. Now I can participate fully, with the end user in mind.  My experience is that some companies develop products for end users without having their own experience of working with what the product is supposed to improve/simplify/support.

expertise

I would say that I have extensive experience in Talent Management - how to attract, retain and develop people using assessments. I also have extensive experience as a customer and user of various TA/HR/TM systems and tools. So I feel that I have a lot of best practice (do's and don'ts) at both strategic and operational levels that I can share with our clients.
