Get to know Li Andér, Co-founder at LEYA.


running a recruitment agency 

I studied business admin/finance but after my graduation I started to work with recruitment. Initially, I worked in executive search for various positions and industries, but after a few years I specialised in IT/Tech roles. In 2008, me and a couple of colleagues started a recruitment agency and ran a small business for 5 years. In 2015, I joined Wise Group and started to focus on leadership and business development.


organisational development 

For the past 10 years I have had a strategic focus on business development, growth and change management in the Talent Acquisition field - from sales strategy and process design to team building and organisational development. Over time, I have deepened my knowledge and interest in assessments - both for recruitment and developing individuals and teams. 


many are (too) old school

I think many of the existing tools and assessments are old-fashioned - many users perceive the existing tools as intimidating, complicated and expensive, that you almost need a psychology degree to understand and work with them in a meaningful way. I want to create value and offer tools that are high quality and easy to use while providing a common thread and framework between recruitment and other HR processes.


reduce the stigma around testing

I am looking forward to making an impact in the industry, to enable a more pragmatic and effortless use of tests - to lower the thresholds for organisations to easily use assessments for their intended purpose. Assessments should not be seen as a sole determining factor, but rather as one of several sources to enable the best possible match between an individual and an organisation. A good match is (at least) as important for the candidate as for the employer!


create value and build strong teams

I am motivated by development and creating value - in this case creating and delivering a great product to our customers, but also contributing internally here at LEYA. I thrive in an environment where different competences and people complement each other and enjoy what they do. This brings me loads of energy and joy at work!


expertise

I can contribute with experience from the client's and user's perspective as I have many years of experience in leading, scaling up and developing recruitment functions and employees in the field of Talent Acquisition.

I can also contribute with knowledge of how to use tools in various HR processes, such as coaching and development of leaders/teams.
